David Farnor | On 13, Apr 2020
Last week saw the surprise launch of Quibi in the UK. Short for “Quick Bites”, the streaming platform delivers programmes and films in short chunks of 5 to 10 minutes each, designed to be watched on mobile phones on the go. A week on and the platform is already dropping new programmes, not waiting around to fill up April with a drumbeat of fresh new offerings – and with a 90-day free trial available during the coronavirus pandemic, there’s more than enough to get a taste of the bite-sized library.
