“You all did great today…” That’s the sound of Pixar entering the world of school softball for its new series Win or Lose.

Pixar’s first original long-form animated show, the Disney+ comedy explores love, rivalry and the challenges we all face in our struggle to win at life.

Each 20-minute episode highlights the perspective of a different character as a middle school coed softball team prepares for their big championship game. The show promises to reveal what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character – the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire – by switching between their uniquely animated perspectives.

Directed, written and executive produced by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally, you can see the end result on 6th December, when the series premieres on Disney+.
