One woman. Two lives. That’s the starting point for Antebellum, which finally arrives on UK screens courtesy of Sky Cinema this April.
The thriller, from the producer of Get Out and Us, star Janelle Monáe as successful author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality that forces her to confront the past, present and future – before it’s too late.< Filmmakers Gerard Bush + Christopher Renz (Bush + Renz) – best known for their pioneering advertising work engaged in the fight for social justice – write, produce and direct their first feature film, with a cast that includes Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons and Gabourey Sidibe. With cinemas closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film was released in the USA as a premium VOD rental last September. Now, it's landing on our side of the pond as a Sky Cinema Original film. It will be available on Sky Cinema from 2nd April. It joins a number of high-profile acquisitions by Sky Cinema in recent months, including the Oscar-nominated The United States vs Billie Holiday and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, plus Promising Young Woman. Don’t have Sky? You can also stream it on NOW, as part of an £11.99 NOW Cinema Membership subscription.
