The Money Shot: Walter Presents heads to France for adult family drama

Walter Presents is heading to France this autumn for an adult family drama that promises to steam up those cold dark nights.
The Money Shot follows an ordinary family with XXX-traordinary business. The Valadines are like most families except for one very tiny detail: the family business is adult movies. Walter Presents’ bold series presents the reality of the erotic film industry alongside an uncensored family saga. Created by Yves Ramonet, The Money Shot is an explicit dive into a world where filth meets philosophy and every preconception you have ever had about the French attitude to sex is “met and exceeded”.
For over 40 years at Xanadu, X-rated films and family life have peacefully co-existed together under the same roof. The business thrived under the authority of Alex Valadine, the flamboyant patriarch and the high priest of the French erotic film industry. Yet, decades later Alex refuses to acknowledge that the industry is now virtually unrecognisable and now the company is struggling to keep up with the digital world. In order to save the business from bankruptcy his children need to step in and take control, but will they be able to overcome fraught relations and past predicaments?
A commentary on the modern adult film industry, The Money Shot presents a polemic subject matter over eight episodes, with a star cast that includes Nathalie Blanc from Spiral. The series premieres at midnight on Channel 4 on Wednesday 20th November, with the entire box set then available to view immediately on All 4.
