Trailer: Donnie Yen’s Iceman released on Netflix UK on the same day as US cinemas

Donnie Yen’s Iceman has been released on Netflix UK today, the same day as it is released in US cinemas.
Directed by Law Wing-cheung, the film is a remake of 1979 flick The Iceman Cometh. The frankly insane plot sees the martial arts legend play the titular hero, a 17th century Ming warrior who is frozen in time along with his enemy to continue battling in modern day Hong Kong.
The movie was released in Chinese cinemas in April – to a decidedly lukewarm response – and has only just made its way to the US. While it is only receiving a limited theatrical release, though, it is getting an international day-and-date digital release, arriving exclusively on Netflix today (well, technically, late last night) over there as well in the UK.
