Sky TV customers can now watch Sky TV programmes and movies on-demand on PlayStation 3 consoles.
Customers who have Sky Go Extra or Sky Multiscreen services will be able to watch Sky’s live and catch-up content directly from the console – taking the number of devices the TV service is available on to over 70.
Sky Go Extra is available to Sky customers for £5 per month, or at no extra cost to customers with Sky Multiscreen. (Sky Go customers can visit Sky.com/Playstation to find out more.)
On top of the entertainment channels, Sky Go Extra customers can choose from over 1,000 movies including the latest action packed blockbusters on Sky Movies. Titles currently available, or coming soon include The Amazing Spiderman 2, 300: Rise of an Empire, Bad Neighbours and Guardians of the Galaxy. Sports fans can also watch live Barclays Premier League, Formula 1, Super Bowl XLIX and ICC Cricket World Cup with Sky Sports.
The launch on Sony’s previous generation console follows Sky’s VOD arrival on PlayStation 4. Sky’s cord-cutting VOD service for non-customers – NOW – is already available on both consoles.
