Now on YouTube: A terrible Adam West film nobody knew existed

15 years ago, someone wrote and directed their own horror film for a million bucks starring Adam West. It was never released.
Surprised? That’s exactly how reddit user neckbeard_le_pirate felt when he discovered that his friend’s dad, Rick Vasquez, had done just that.
The movie is called Seance (a.k.a. Killer in the Dark) and also stars Corey Feldman as one of six friends who decide it would be cool to contact the dead one evening. Needless to say, things went bad.
The story, which was “based on Rick and his brother’s own experience with a ghost in their childhood”. was filmed in 2001 in the Antelope Valley with an eye to release it on DVD or in cinemas. For better or for worse, that never happened.
That’s because “it was terrible”, says neckbeard_le_pirate. Now, though, the entire thing has been uploaded to YouTube.
“It took us a year to convince him to put the entire thing up for free,” says the user. “This is a genuine unreleased Adam West film with < 100 views on YouTube." "Rick worked on this film for many years and would love to share it with as many people as possible," he adds. Vasquez himself is also quoted as saying that it is "the best film Corey Feldman has ever done" and that Adam was called one-shot Adam’ - "because he could do every take perfectly in one shot". So there you have it. A brand new horror film available for free starring Adam West. Just how terrible is it? You'll have to brave it yourself to find out - not as a single film, mind, but in 10 individual, low-quality snippets.
