Inspector Borowski returns to Walter Presents this week for Season 2.

The hit series from the long-running German crime strand Tatort returns follows the eponymous perfectionist detective (Axel Milberg) and his side-kick Sarah Brandt across a series of twisted cases. Season 1 premiered on Walter Presents, All 4’s streaming channel dedicated to overseas TV. It received critical acclaim in Germany including an Adolf Grimme Award nomination for the episode Borowski and the Angel. (Viewers may recognise Sibel Kekillis, who plays Sarah Brandt, from her role as Shae in Game of Thrones.)

Although perverted serial killer Korthals hasn’t been seen for years, when a completely bewildered woman is found at a nearby beach, her mumbled words and creepy drawings lead Borowski and Brandt to suspect that the man has returned. Immediately, Sarah experiences traumatic memories of her own experiences with Korthals.  Meanwhile, Borowski is deeply in love and even considering marriage, but when his fiancée doesn’t turn up to their next rendezvous he fears that her disappearance is no coincidence. He must work quickly with Sarah to locate Korthals before they both risk fatal consequences…
 
All six episodes of Season 2 will be available on Walter Presents via All 4 from Friday 7th June.
