Birders: New documentary flies on to Netflix this September

Bird lovers will flock together this September to watch a new documentary from Netflix, Birders.
The film explores the migration of a diverse number of birds who successfully traverse the US-Mexico border each year, and the bird lovers on both sides of the frontier who celebrate this journey.
A diverse number of migratory birds travel thousands of miles back and forth across the border without regard for man-made laws and barriers. Dedicated Birders on both sides of the border, and all sides of the political spectrum, share a passion for these creatures and for their perilous journey. Directed by Otilia Portillo Padua (Diario a Tres Voces), Birders celebrates those who observe, record, monitor and fight for the rights and habitats of these species, demonstrating another way to think about the passage for survival that is migration.
The short premieres on Netflix on 25th September. Here’s the trailer:
Birders is now available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
