This month it’s all eyes on the revered Power Universe, with the premiere of the newest instalment, Power Book IV: Force. The long-awaited drama will see fan favourite, Joseph Sikora, reprise his iconic role as Tommy Egan as he leaves New York behind with plans to take on a city of his own: Chicago – arriving closely on the heels of the Season 2 finale of Power Book II: Ghost.

Power Book IV: Force – 6th February

“Power Book IV: Force” centres on fan-favourite character Tommy Egan, after he cuts ties and puts New York in his rearview mirror for good. As Tommy leaves New York after losing Ghost, LaKeisha and the only city he’s ever known, he makes a quick detour to close an old wound that’s been haunting him for decades. What was supposed to be a quick stop turns into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies Tommy thought were long buried. One step leads to another and Tommy quickly finds himself in Chicago’s drug game, inserting himself between the city’s two biggest crews. In a city divided by race, Tommy straddles the line, ultimately becoming the lynchpin that not only unites them – but holds the POWER to watch them crumble. As the first season unfolds at breakneck speed, Tommy uses his outsider status to his advantage, breaking all the local rules and rewriting them on his quest to become the biggest drug dealer in Chicago.

About Time – 1st February

At the age of 21, Tim discovers he can travel in time and change what happens and has happened in his own life. His decision to make his world a better place by getting a girlfriend turns out not to be as easy as you might think. From the creator of Love Actually and Notting Hill.

Deliver Us from Eva – 1st February

Three young men pay a player named Ray to romance Eva, their girlfriends’ beautiful but bossy older sister. But the guys get more than they bargained for when Ray begins to fall for Eva.

Jane Eyre – 1st February

A mousy governess who softens the heart of her employer soon discovers that he’s harboring a terrible secret.

Locke – 1st February

Ivan Locke is the head of a successful construction company and is happily married to Katrina with whom he has two sons, Eddie and Sean. However, he must risk it all to ‘do the right thing’ when he faces the consequences of a past mistake.

Loving – 20th February

The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a couple whose arrest for interracial marriage in 1960s Virginia began a legal battle that would end with the Supreme Court’s historic 1967 decision.
