Last month saw the surprise launch of Quibi in the UK. Short for “Quick Bites”, the streaming platform delivers programmes and films in short chunks of 5 to 10 minutes each, designed to be watched on mobile phones on the go. A month after its launch, though, the mobile-only platform has announced plans to backtrack on its signature proposition and introduce the ability to cast content to TVs – a sign of how challenging an environment it is for the on-the-move offering to win subscribers when they’re largely staying at home during the coronavirus lockdown.

Meanwhile, Quibi continues its strategy to release new series with star-studded casts, including the return of Reno 911! as a Quibi exclusive. Here’s what’s coming soon to Quibi in May – or see what was added to Quibi last month here.

Reno 911! – 4th May

The US police mockumentary returns after being cancelled by Comedy Central back in 2009. Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant and Kerri Kenney-Silver are all back the revival, which effectively marks the show’s seventh season.

Useless Celebrity History – 4th May

Adam Rippon takes us on a tour of the most outrageous celebrity stories from years gone by.

Blackballed – 11th May

Quibi turns to controversial history with this new documentary exploring the expulsion of Donald Sterling from the NBA, after private recordings of him making racist comments were made public.

Barkitecture – 11th May

Home renovation but for dogs is the eye-catching premise behind this new series, which follows some of the extravagant dog houses being built by people who really love their four-legged best friends.

Centerpiece – 18th May

Floral artist Maurice Harris fronts this documentary exploring flower design.

Kirby Jenner – 24th May

Kirby Jenner shows us his reality as a member of the world’s most famous family in this seamlessly made Kardashians spoof.
