Freevee, Amazon’s ad-supported free streaming service, has had a rebrand. The platform, formerly known as IMDb TV, is part of the Amazon Prime Video app, and provides films and TV shows for free, but with adverts.

It requires an Amazon account to use, but does not require any payment, memberships or subscription. It does not include everything that would normally be included with an Amazon Prime subscription, but there are some titles that are also available part of an Amazon Prime subscription, so that viewers can pay should they want to watch with no adverts. Each month, Amazon will be adding titles to the Amazon Freevee library, from third party acquisitions to exclusive originals. Here’s what’s coming soon in May 2022:

Bosch: Legacy: Season 1 – 6th May

This spin-off from Amazon’s original drama Bosch follows Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) and Money Chandler (Mimi Rogers) as they both begin new chapters following the Carl Rogers case that shifted the dynamic of all their lives. Loosely based on the novel The Wrong Side of Goodbye by Michael Connelly, the first season sees the former LAPD detective called to the estate of ailing billionaire Whitney Vance, where he is tasked with finding Vance’s only potential heir. Without the badge and a preference for old-school tactics, Bosch finds an invaluable resource in Maurice “Mo” Bassi (Stephen A Chang, Captain Marvel), a tech-forward gadget whiz who shares Bosch’s commitment to justice and fondness for smooth jazz. Meanwhile, following in her father’s footsteps, Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz), a rookie patrol officer with the LAPD, is paired with Reina Vasquez (Denise Sanchez, The Good Place), a no-nonsense, hard-charging training officer.

The Voices – 20th May

Ryan Rodney Reynolds delivers a killer turn in this wonderfully unbalanced horror comedy.

Children of Men – 27th May

Alfonso Cuaron’s dystopian thriller is bleak, stark and remains stunningly relevant.

Destination Wedding – 27th May

Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are wonderfully spiky in this unconventional rom-com.
