Freevee, Amazon’s ad-supported free streaming service, has had a rebrand. The platform, formerly known as IMDb TV, is part of the Amazon Prime Video app, and provides films and TV shows for free, but with adverts.

It requires an Amazon account to use, but does not require any payment, memberships or subscription. It does not include everything that would normally be included with an Amazon Prime subscription, but there are some titles that are also available part of an Amazon Prime subscription, so that viewers can pay should they want to watch with no adverts. Each month, Amazon will be adding titles to the Amazon Freevee library, from third party acquisitions to exclusive originals. Here’s what’s coming soon in June 2023:

Good Will Hunting – 1st June

Robin Williams and Matt Damon are on superb form in this drama about a janitor at MIT who secretly has a genius-level IQ.

Blue Ruin – 1st June
A near-perfect revision of the revenge movie rulebook, to stirring and unforgettable effect.

Capote – 1st June
Philip Seymour Hoffman quietly dazzles in this slow, thoughtful drama.

Neighbours (2017 and 2018) – 15th June

50 more episodes join the existing iconic episodes collection, which features episodes with memorable moments from the series’ 38-year run. All episodes from Seasons 2017 and 2018 are also being added to the service, meaning viewers can now watch every episode of Neighbours from 2012 – 2018.
