This Is Us Season 5 heads to Amazon in the UK

This Is Us Season 5 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the UK this October.
Created by Dan Fogelman, the series chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their 37-year-old kids Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown), searching for love and fulfillment in the present day. This grounded, life-affirming dramedy reveals how the tiniest events in our lives impact who we become, and how the connections we share with each other can transcend time, distance and even death.
“Executed impeccably by an on-form cast and with direction that’s gentle enough to allow for nuance in each scene, This Is Us is just messy enough to capture the jumbled unpredictability of life,” we wrote in our review of Season 1. “Should you laugh at it? Should you cry? However you react, put down your cynicism and be glad of the fact that there’s an ‘it’ to talk about.”
The show first aired on More4 in the UK for Season 1 and 2, but has since headed straight to Amazon Prime in the UK. That mans there’ll be no waiting about for episodes this year, with Season 5 arriving online hot on the heels of its US broadcast.
Season 5 sees the “Big Three” Pearson siblings reunite for more tear-jerking drama. It will premiere in the US on 27th October, with Episode 1 arriving on Amazon Prime Video on 28th October. New episodes will then arrive every Wednesday. It joins Season 1 to 4, which are all available to stream with Amazon Prime.
This Is Us is available on Amazon Prime Video as part of a Prime membership or a £5.99 monthly subscription.
