Apple TV+ is bringing back the charming period comedy The Buccaneers this June, but it’s a month of star-studded debuts, from Owen Wilson-starring sports comedy Stick to Taron Egerton-starring crime drama Smoke and Julian Moore-starring thriller Echo Valley.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ in June 2025:

Stick – 4th June

Stick is a new sports comedy series created by Jason Keller and starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson. Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager). Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly until the finale on 23rd July.

Echo Valley – 13th June

In this edge-of-your-seat thriller, Kate (Julianne Moore) is a mother struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (Sydney Sweeney) — a situation that becomes even more perilous when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood. As Kate pieces together the shocking truth of what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in this gripping tale of love, sacrifice and survival from BAFTA-winning director Michael Pearce and Emmy-nominated writer Brad Ingelsby.

Not a Box – 13th June

Get creative with Riley, a bright-eyed bunny with a big imagination who loves crafting make-believe worlds out of simple cardboard — and meeting new friends along the way. This preschool animated series is based on the award-winning book series by Antoinette Portis. All eight episodes arrive at once.

The Buccaneers: Season 2 – 18th June

In the first season of The Buccaneers, a group of fun-loving young American girls exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s, setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Now the Buccaneers are no longer the invaders – England is their home. In fact they’re practically running the place. Nan is the Duchess of Tintagel, the most influential woman in the country. Conchita is Lady Brightlingsea, heroine to a wave of young American heiresses. And Jinny is on every front-page, wanted for the kidnap of her unborn child. All of the girls have been forced to grow up and now have to fight to be heard, as they wrestle with romance, lust, jealousy, births and deaths… themes consuming all women of any age, no matter what year it is. Last time we got a taste of England. This time we’re in for a veritable feast. Season 2’s eight episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 6th August.

Easy Money: The Charles Ponzi Story – 23rd June

In 1920, a broke immigrant in Boston became one of America’s richest, most infamous men — practically overnight. In just nine months, he swindled the modern equivalent of a quarter billion dollars, upended the world of finance and etched his name into history as the mastermind behind one of the most notorious scams ever: the Ponzi scheme. Hosted by Maya Lau and featuring Sebastian Maniscalco, this Apple podcast is a docudrama that captures the rise and fall — both outrageous and tragic — of the con artist who fooled the world and paid the price.

Smoke – 27th June

Inspired by true events, Smoke follows a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator as they pursue the trails of two serial arsonists. Reuniting the creative team behind Black Bird, the series stars Taron Egerton, Jurnee Smollett, Rafe Spall, Anna Chlumsky, Greg Kinnear and John Leguizamo. The first two episodes arrive together, followed by weekly episodes until the finale on 15th August.
