Apple is avoiding dropping anything big on Christmas Day itself this year, with a December that gets out of the gates early, including the return of Slow Horses and Little America plus the debut of Will Smith’s Emancipation – leaving room for a little treat that everyone can unwrap in the days leading up to the 25th.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ UK in December 2022:

Slow Horses: Season 2 – 2nd December

The darkly humorous espionage drama – already renewed for Season 3 and 4 – follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping-ground department of MI5 known unaffectionately as Slough House. Gary Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by four more episodes weekly.

Emancipation – 9th December

Inspired by a true story, it follows one man who fights through unthinkable terrors in an attempt to reunite with his family. Directed by Antoine Fuqua from a script by William N Collage, the film is produced by Will Smith and Jon Mone through Westbrook Studios, and co-stars Ben Foster (“Hell or High Water,” “Leave No Trace”), Charmaine Bingwa (“The Good Fight,” “Black Box,” “Trees of Peace”), Gilbert Owuor (“Montana Story,” “Mute,” “Reprisal,” “Calls”) and Mustafa Shakir (“Soul Assassin,” “Cowboy Bebop,” “Marvel’s Luke Cage” and “The Deuce”).

Puppy Place: Season 2 – 9th December

Charles and Lizzie Peterson have found the perfect way to foster their love of dogs — literally. The siblings take on the tough but rewarding task of fostering puppies and finding their forever homes. With every new pup, a new adventure begins.

Little America: Season 2 – 9th December

Inspired by the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, “Little America” will go beyond the headlines to look at the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and surprising stories of immigrants in America.

A Charlie Brown Christmas (Free) – 22nd December

This iconic Christmas special will be available for free to non-subscribers for three days.
