Watch: Ghost stories for Christmas featuring Host’s Jed Shepherd
James R | On 18, Dec 2020
Nothing says Christmas like a night of spooky ghost stories huddled by a log fire – and this year, one of those ghost stories comes straight to your screen from the co-writer of 2020’s breakout horror hit Host.
The Shudder original, which is based around a Zoom seance gone wrong, was made in lockdown and has become one of the most talked-about scarefests of the past 12 months. Tonight, Jed Shepherd is one of several exciting talents taking part in A Night of Ghost Stories For Christmas.
The online event will also feature spooky storytelling from Icy Sedgwick of The Fabulous Folklore Podcast, Bram Stoker Award Nominated author of Dear Laura, Gemma Amor, YouTube horror host “Grumpy” Andrew Lyall and writers Jane Roberts and Libby Harris.
Tickets cost £5.50 and the event is being held in aid of MS Society (tickets are charged per account, rather than per person streaming, so additional donations are encouraged for households with more than one person watching).
The night kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday 18th December, with only 100 spaces available. To book your seat, click here. And yes, it’s on Zoom – but could the same thing really happen to Host’s co-writer twice in one year…?
