“I’ve always had this fantasy that there’s someone else out there for me.” That’s the sound of Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal heading to Amazon Studios this autumn, and a new trailer gives us a first look at Foe.

From Lion director Garth Davis comes the tale of Hen & Junior, who farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger shows up at their door with a startling proposal that goes beyond this planet.

Co-starring Aaron Pierre, the film asks questions about the nature of humanity (and artificial humanity), bringing the not-too-distant future to life.

You can see the end result on 20th October, when the film premieres in cinemas, before going on to stream on Amazon Prime Video at a later date.
