Tiger King will return to Netflix this November, and a new trailer gives us a first look at Season 2.
The documentary, which premiered last year, follows Joe Exotic, the mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. He and a cast of characters including drug kingpins, conmen, and cult leaders all share a passion for big cats. But things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe’s arrest for a murder-for-hire plot.
The series was a global hit, attracting 64 million households in the first four weeks after its premiere. Now, it will return to Netflix for more madness and mayhem.
“This irresistibly outrageous documentary about two rival big cat owners is stuffed with juicy, jaw-dropping revelations,” we wrote in our review.
If you thought the mayhem was over though, Netflix teases that it’s only scratched the surface. Find out more on 17th November, when Season 2 debuts on Netflix worldwide.
