This Is Us will premiere its sixth and final season on Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Since its premiere in 2016, the family drama has charted five seasons of the Pearson family navigating the emotional ups and downs of life. Starting out as a Channel 4 acquisition, the show then hopped to Amazon Prime Video as an exclusive. Now, Disney+ has confirmed that it and Prime Video will be streaming Season 6 in the UK and Ireland.

This Is Us chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their kids (the big three), Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love and fulfilment in the present day along with Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson). The dramedy reveals how the tiniest events in our lives impact who we become, and how the connections we share with each other can transcend time, distance and even death.
 
Dan Fogelman, Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, Ken Olin, Charlie Gogolak, Jess Rosenthal and Steve Beers executive produce the series, which hails from by 20th Television – now part of Disney, following its acquisition of Fox.

Season 6 will premiere on Thursday 6th January 2022, with new episodes then streaming weekly after the US broadcast. The first five seasons (already available on Prime Video) will also be available on Disney+ UK on the same day as the Season 6 launch.
