Silicon Valley Season 2 will be available to watch online in the UK before its TV broadcast.
The show, which is created by Office Space’s Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, is set in the titular high-tech Californian world. It follows six men who launch a start-up company to develop a music app called Pied Piper. When the app is found to have a revolutionary data compression programme within it, the team find themselves with offers, backers and rivals.
The first season of the show, premiered in 2014 on HBO in the US and on Sky Atlantic in the UK. After those initial eight episodes, it returns for a further 10 episode in 2015 – and will be back for another run this spring.
The half-hour sitcom’s UK air date is Thursday 12th May at 10.10pm on Sky Atlantic, at which point it will also be available to watch online. Sky customers can tune in live via Sky Go and catch up through Sky On Demand. Non-Sky customers can watch online live through NOW, a VOD service that gives contract-free access to Sky’s TV channels. For £6.99 a month, subscribers can steam shows such as Game of Thrones live and also catch up later on-demand within 30 days of the show’s broadcast.
Can’t wait until then? The good news is that the first three episodes of Silicon Valley are already available to watch online in the UK through Sky On Demand and NOW.
