NOW TV now available on PS4 and Xbox One

NOW has joined the next generation of consoles.
Sky’s VOD service, which offers live and on-demand access to its TV channels and movies without a Sky contract, is now available on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Gidon Katz, Director of NOW, says: “Launching on Xbox One means NOW is now available on both the latest next generation consoles, as well as over 50 other devices. That’s great news for our customers who now have even more choice and flexibility when it comes to choosing how they want to watch NOW.”

Over the past 12 months, NOW has made a concerted effort to expand its device line-up as well as adding lots of new content. Recent updates include launching on PlayStation 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5, the addition of Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. to the Entertainment Month Pass and new apps added to the NOW Box including ITV Player, BBC Sport and 4oD.
What is NOW?
NOW breaks down into three parts. An Entertainment Month Pass (£8.99 a month) lets customers stream Sky TV channels live and on catch-up, including shows such as The Walking Dead, Arrow, and Game of Thrones. A NOW Cinema Membership (£9.99 a month) gives unlimited access to Sky’s catalogue of films, including Captain Phillips, We’re The Millers and The Wolverine with Thor: The Dark World (22nd August) coming soon. A Sports Day Pass (£8.99), meanwhile, lets customers view live action from all Sky Sports Channels for 24 hours – including new channel, Sky Sports 5, from its launch on 12th August 2014.
