A new trailer for Pee-wee’s Big Holiday has landed online.

The latest Netflix original film, which is released next month, sees Paul Reubens reprise his role of Pee-wee Herman, who has graced stage, the small screen and the big screen over recent decades.

Reubens teamed up with Judd Apatow to bring the project to fruition, produced Netflix’s film from a script by Reubens and Paul Rust (Comedy Bang! Bang!, Arrested Development). John Lee will make his feature debut as director on the film, after helming Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer.

The movie will follow Herman as he is inspired to take his first ever holiday after a “fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger”.

The film will premiere on Netflix around on Friday 18th March, the same day as Season 2 of Daredevil.
