“Welcome to Litchfield, inmate.”
That’s the sound of a new teaser trailer for Orange Is the New Black, as Netflix announces the release date for Season 4.
The award-winning series from Jenji Kohan stars an ensemble cast that’s too good not to name them all, from Taylor Schilling and Uzo Aduba to Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Natasha Lyonne, Laverne Cox, Dascha Polanco, Michael Harney, Danielle Brooks, Taryn Manning, Selenis Leyva, Yael Stone, Nick Sandow, Samira Wiley, Lea DeLaria, Jackie Cruz, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Adrienne Moore.
News of spending even more time with them, even without confirmation on who will be returning (and how Alex is doing), is still enough to get fans excite, although they will have to wait another couple of months for the show’s return: all episodes of Season 4 will premiere on Friday 17th June.
“JUNE 17?????! JUNE? I CANT THIS ANYMORE IM GONNA DIE RIGHT NOW JUNE 17? YOU ARE KIDDING ME,” commented Florenciaseq on YouTube, where Netflix released the teaser.
“omfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgomfgOMFGgOMFGgOMFGgOMFGgOMFGgOMFGgOMFG,” wrote Tita Sabe.
Meg Grande echoed Tita’s sentiment, adding: “FUCKAJAJSAHUAUAHUKJAIAJAUABAOABSBAUQJSOSN.”
The announcement was made at the TCA winter press tour, where Netflix also announced the release dates for a bunch of other original shows this year. For more on those, head this way. In the meantime, here’s the video:
