Netflix has released the trailer for Grace and Frankie.

The streaming service’s latest original show stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as two women whose lives are suddenly turned upside down when their husbands reveal they are gay and leave them for each other.

Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, they form an unlikely bond to face an uncertain future together – one that ranges from joint pain to joint rolling and blind dates to night blindness.

The series is executive produced by Marta Kauffman (of Friends fame) and Howard J. Morris (Home Improvement), with a cast that includes Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston, along with Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, Baron Vaughn and June Diane Raphael.

The trailer comes hot on the heels of a batch of new photos from the production, complete with comments from Fonda and Tomlin, which you can see here. The show arrives on Friday 8th May in all territories where Netflix is available.
