MUBI offers 3 months for £1

MUBI has resurrected a promotion for new and previous subscribers, offering 3 months for £1.
The curated subscription streaming service specialises in world cinema and arthouse gems, with a catalogue that ranges from filmmaker debuts to notable classics. Shining a spotlight on such talent as Isabelle Huppert, Satyajit Ray, François Ozon, Pedro Almodóvar, Fellini, Tinto Brass and Lav Diaz, it’s distinguished itself from more mainstream platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video by picking up titles from film festivals the world over, often as exclusives.
Last year, MUBI, which used to operate on a 30-day cycle, opened up its library as an all-you-can-stream catalogue, with all of its titles available at once – more than 400 in total. Some are films it’s distributed in the past, others are archive films licensed from third parties, and others are exclusives it currently holds the rights to. The collection comprises previous retrospectives, double-bills and other seasons, plus a veritable treasure trove of classics.
At the same time, it launched a £1 offer to kick off the new year – and now, with 2022 underway, it’s doing the same thing again, with the deal available until 23:59 on Monday 10th January, as we understand it. After 3 months, the subscription will automatically renew at £9.99 a month, unless cancelled – and it can be cancelled at any time before then.
MUBI can be accessed as an app on iOS and Android devices, as well as Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, PS4 and some smart TVs. MUBI is also accessible through a computer web browser, with Apple AirPlay and Google Cast supported.
