Trailer: Lindsay Lohan stars in Netflix’s Irish Wish

“What brings you to Ireland?” That’s the sound of Lindsay Lohan heading to Ireland for new rom-com Irish Wish – and a new trailer gives us a look at every single stereotype that’s in store.
Directed by Janeen Damian (Falling for Christmas, High Strung Free Dance), Irish Wish follows Maddie, who – when the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend – puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be.
The film is written by Kirsten Hansen, Ron Oliver, Janeen Damian and Michael Damian, with the cast including Ayesha Curry, Alexander Vlahos and (fresh from the very unromantic You) Ed Speleers. Lindsay Lohan is reteaming with Netflix for new rom-com Irish Wish.
The Mean Girls and Parent Trap star is already teaming up with the streamer for the holiday film Falling for Christmas. Before that debuts on 10th November, though, Lohan is already busy lining up the next project in her two-picture creative partnership with Netflix.
Directed by Janeen Damian (Falling for Christmas, High Strung Free Dance), Irish Wish follows Maddie, who – when the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend – puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realises that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.
The film is written by Kirsten Hansen, Ron Oliver, Janeen Damian and Michael Damian, and exec-produced by Amanda Phillips, Kirsten Hansen, Jimmy Townsend and Vince Balzano. The producers include MPCA’s Brad Krevoy; Riviera Films’ Michael Damian.
