ITV takes viewers inside The Savoy

ITV will step through the gilded revolving doors of The Savoy for a new documentary series.
Filled with glamour, elegance, history and character, the first luxury hotel in Britain has sat alongside the River Thames for over 130 years. It has hosted rock stars and royalty, Oscar winners and prime ministers and now it’s opening its doors to ITV viewers, as a new documentary steps into The Savoy.
Filmed over the busy winter season, the five-part series will give viewers a glimpse of being a guest at this iconic hotel and share the real-life characters behind-the-scenes, and the challenges they face to make the magic happen.
Produced by Studio Ramsay for ITV Factual entertainment, and in a Studio Ramsay first, the programme will be filmed using a state-of-the-art multi-camera rig providing unique and intimate access. The Savoy is commissioned for ITV by Kate Teckman, Head of Development & Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment. For STUDIO RAMSAY, the Series Director is Sam Campbell, Series Producer Naomi Gayler and Executive Producers Gordon Ramsay and Sebastian Grant, with Chief Creative Officer Lisa Edwards. Programme Idea developed by Fernando De Jesus.
