Ira Sachs Little Men Q&A comes to Curzon Home Cinema

This Friday, Ira Sachs’ Little Men is released in cinemas and on VOD – and, to celebrate, Curzon Home Cinema is streaming an exclusive Q&A with the director for a whole week.
The film, which stars Jennifer Ehle, Greg Kinnear, Theo Taplitz, follows the beautiful Love Is Strange and heartbreaking Keep the Lights On with tale of Jake (Theo Taplitz), a quiet, sensitive middle schooler with dreams of being an artist. He meets the affably brash Tony (Michael Barbieri) at his grandfather’s funeral, and the unlikely pair soon hit it off. The budding friendship is put at risk, however, when a rent dispute between Jake’s father, Brian (Kinnear), and Tony’s mother, Leonor (Paulina Garcia), threatens to become contentious.
Set in the vibrancy of a fast-changing Brooklyn, the film was nominated for the Crystal Bear in Berlin 2016 and for Edinburgh’s 2016 Audience Award.
Last week, Sachs was in London for an exclusive Q&A at Curzon Bloomsbury talking Little Men. Now, as his film arrives exclusively on Curzon Home Cinema, the streaming site is releasing the Q&A for free to stream through the movie’s first week. The Q&A will be released on Friday 23rd September and will be available for free using the code “LITTLEMEN” until Friday 30th September.
The release continues Curzon Home Cinema’s move into additional content to support its pay-per-view movies and day-and-date releases from its own label, Artificial Eye, and other distributors. Earlier this year, the site branched out into live-streaming, using its newly updated app for iOS and Android devices to stream a Q&A for Matteo Garrone’s Tale of Tales.
Sachs will also curate a collection of titles from Curzon Home Cinema’s catalogue, to accompany Little Men and the Q&A.
