I Came By: Kelly Macdonald, Hugh Bonneville, George MacKay to star in Netflix thriller

Netflix has assembled a star-studded cast for I Came By, the new thriller from Under the Shadow director Babak Anvari.
Anvari is no stranger to Netflix, having also helmed Wounds for the streamer after his BAFTA-winning feature debut. Now, he’s reteaming with Netflix for London set neo-noir thriller I Came By, which he has co-written with Namsi Khan (His Dark Materials, Humans). The film is among the first titles comprising the new UK film features slate at Netflix, commissioned by Fiona Lamptey and focusing on developing distinctive British productions to create bold new stories to entertain and excite a global audience. Lucan Toh is producing for Two and Two Pictures, with Kit Fraser (Under The Shadow, Wounds, Eternal Beauty) attached as DoP.
In front of the camera, things are no less impress, with George Mackay (1917, True History of The Kelly Gang, Captain Fantastic), Kelly Macdonald (Line of Duty, No Country for Old Men, Trainspotting) and Hugh Bonneville (Paddington 1&2, Downton Abbey 1&2, The Monuments Men) leading the cast, along with Percelle Ascott (The Innocents, Tin Star) and Varada Sethu (Hard Sun, Strike Back).
The film follows a rebellious young graffiti artist, who targets the homes of the wealthy elite, discovers a shocking secret that leads him on a journey endangering himself and those closest to him.
I Came By will shoot on location in the UK and will release on Netflix in 2022.
