Eleven Sports announces pricing ahead of UK streaming launch

Sports streaming service Eleven Sports has announced its pricing ahead of its UK launch this summer.
The over-the-top platform, which was founded three years, streams more than 30,000 hours of sports to 17 million customers in Italy, Belgium, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan and the USA. Now, it’s heading to the UK this August, just in time for the new season of the Premier League. It arrives at a time when competition for sports rights has never been more heated, with Sky and BT Sport joined by Amazon Prime Video in the broadcasting race. While most rivalry focuses on Premier League and Champions League football, though, Eleven Sports is looking to distinguish itself by specifically eyeing up international football.
The platform has snapped up the live and exclusive rights to five top flight football leagues: LaLiga (Spain), Serie A (Italy), Eredivisie (Netherlands), Chinese Super League and Allsvenskan (Sweden). That makes it the only place where sports fans can watch some of the world’s biggest clubs, including Real Madrid, Juventus, FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and best players, from Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to Antoine Griezmann and Mauro Icardi.
All the action will be distributed via Eleven’s soon-to-be-launched online streaming platform at www.elevensports.uk and iOS and Android mobile and tablet apps. The web platform and apps will be available from next week, when the service launches with the 2018 PGA Championship.
The centenary edition of the golf major, which runs from 9th to 12th August at the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis Missouri, will be the official launch event on Eleven Sports.
To watch all of the above, Eleven Sports will cost £5.99 per month (€6.99 per month in Ireland). A 7-day free trial will also be on offer, so fans can stream all four days of the PGA tournament without paying anything. An Annual Pass will be available for £59.99 a year (€69.99 in Ireland), providing a flexible alternative to accessing the same content. Sign up before 31st August and a discounted Early Bird Annual Pass will cost £49.99 (€59.99 in Ireland).
