Doctor Foster dominates September iPlayer streaming

Season 2 of Doctor Foster had an average of 8.9 million viewers, with a 35 per cent share, consolidated figures reveal. This is higher than series one which had a consolidated average of 8.2 million, with a 31 percent share.
The finale of the second series of the hit BBC One show has been watched by a series high of 9.8 million viewers, with a 40 per cent share.
BBC iPlayer figures also reflect the popularity of the award-winning drama, with September stats revealing that Doctor Foster was the most requested show of the month, with over nine million requests.
