“I know he’s in prison.” “Except he’s not in prison.” That’s the sound of Luther returning to our screens, with Idris Elba back in the shoes of the brilliant but disgraced detective.
We catch up with him as John Luther sits behind bars. Haunted by his failure to capture the cyber psychopath who now taunts him, Luther decides to break out of prison to finish the job by any means necessary. The film also stars Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis and Dermot Crowley, who returns as Martin Schenk.
You can see them in action on 24th February, when the film lands in select cinemas, before it debuts on Netflix on 10th March.
