Netflix unveils House of Cards Season 4 teaser and 2016 release date

The first teaser trailer for House of Cards Season 4 has landed, along with the release date – and it comes with the official Frank Underwood seal of approval.
After three seasons that saw Kevin Spacey’s calculating politician scheme his way into the White House’s Oval Office, two things became apparent: firstly, that his efforts would likely cost him his marriage, with Season 3’s move into domestic drama giving Robin Wright’s Clare Underwood a chance to take centre stage, and secondly, that not having a fourth season of the show would be a hugely missed opportunity, given the US Presidential Election race already underway.
And so it’s only natural that the first teaser for the new run should take the form of a campaign video, with Underwood claiming to put people before politics. As he promises, he’s only just getting started.
You’ll be able to see the results of the Underwood 2016 campaign on Friday 4th March, when all episodes of Season 4 of House of Cards will premiere on Netflix worldwide. Until then, there’s a fantastic campaign site at the inspired URL of FU2016.com.
