Hundreds of hours of Channel 4 TV series, including global hit franchise The Inbetweeners, will be available to buy on blinkbox in the UK and Ireland after the broadcaster signed a major content deal with the streaming service.
Customers can now buy the three The Inbetweeners TV series on Tesco’s VOD platform, alongside other hit shows, such as Peep Show, Skins, Derek starring Ricky Gervais and acclaimed conspiracy thriller Utopia. Also joining the service will be some recent Channel 4 films, such as Stone Roses: Made of Stone, The Imposter and Pantani: Accidental Death of a Cyclist. Many new Channel 4 programmes will also become available during the lifetime of the partnership.

“It’s a further sign of our commitment to offer a truly brilliant entertainment experience, without the need for a subscription.”
Laurence Dawkin-Jones, Channel 4’s Commercial & Business Development Director adds: “We’re pleased to be able to offer another route to market for our fantastic catalogue of programmes and many great films, giving consumers the chance to own and keep their favourite titles and hopefully discover many new ones.”
