You rang? The Baby-Sitters Club is back this October for a new season with new friendships, new challenges, and of course, new business.
Based on Ann M Martin’s best-selling book series, the contemporary series that follows the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends – Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer – in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
You can see them back together on 11th October, when Season 2 premieres on Netflix. Here’s the trailer:

First image lands for Netflix’s Baby-Sitters Club

The Baby-Sitters Club officially returns to Netflix this July, and we’ve got our first image from the revived series.
Based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series, The Baby-Sitters Club is a contemporary series that will follow the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends – Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer – in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
Silverstone will play Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer, the mother of Kristy Thomas and love interest of Watson Brewer, played by Feuerstein. Now, Netflix has found the club itself, with Sophie Grace to play Kristy Thomas, Malia Baker to play Mary-Anne Spier, Momona Tamada to play Claudia Kishi, Shay Rudolph to play Stacey McGill and Xochitl Gomez to play Dawn Schafer.
GLOW’s Rachel Shukert serves as showrunner on the programme, which has been given a 10-episode order. They’ll all drop at once on Netflix worldwide on 3rd July. Here’s the first production still:

Netflix has found the lead cast for its reboot of The Baby-Sitters Club, and a new poster for the show gives us our first look at the new gang.
Based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series, The Baby-Sitters Club is a contemporary series that will follow the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends – Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer – in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

The series will comprise 10 half-hour episodes, with GLOW’s Rachel Shukert on board as showrunner, Lucy Kitada and Naia Cucukov serving as executive producers and Lucia Aniello (Broad City) also serving as director and executive producer. Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein to star in Netflix’s The Baby-Sitters Club

Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, American Woman) and Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) have been cast in Netflix’s upcoming live-action series The Baby-Sitters Club.
Based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series, The Baby-Sitters Club is a contemporary series that will follow the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends – Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer – in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
Silverstone will play Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer, the mother of Kristy Thomas and love interest of Watson Brewer, played by Feuerstein.
The family-friendly adaptation comes from Walden Media and Michael De Luca, who will executive produce. Rachel Shukert (GLOW) will serve as showrunner, Lucy Kitada and Naia Cucukov will serve as executive producers and Lucia Aniello (Broad City) will serve as director and executive producer. The series author Ann M. Martin will also produce alongside Aniello’s Paulilu Productions.
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes and production is underway in Vancouver.
