Netflix nabs horror film Run Rabbit Run

Netflix has nabbed the worldwide rights to the horror film Run Rabbit Run.
The film, which was made on location throughout Melbourne, regional Victoria and in South Australia’s Riverland region, is directed by Daina Reid (The Shining Girls, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Outsider) and written by Hannah Kent (The Good People, Devotion, Burial Rites).
It follows a fertility doctor who believes firmly in life and death, but after noticing the strange behaviour of her young daughter, must challenge her own values and confront a ghost from her past.
Sarah Snook (Succession, The Beautiful Lie) stars, alongside a cast that includes Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman (Thai Cave Rescue, The Serpent, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Greta Scacchi (Darby & Joan, The Shepherd).
The film is produced by Sarah Shaw and Anna McLeish (Relic, Partisan, Snowtown), with the exec producers including Snook, Nate Bolotin, Maxime Cottray, Nick Spicer and Aram Tertzakian of XYZ Films, Deanne Weir, Olivia Humphrey, Jack Christian, D.J. McPherson, Daina Reid, Jake Carter and Katie Anderson.
Netflix has acquired the rights to release the film in all countries except Benelux, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Nordics and Taiwan. It will debut on the service this year at a yet to be confirme date.
