What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in December 2017?
David Farnor | On 22, Nov 2017
All we want for Christmas is everyone to leave us alone for 12 days so we can catch up with everything on Netflix – because while 2017 is drawing to close, the streaming giant is going at full speed all the way until 31st December, dishing out a veritable sleigh-full of treats for festive streaming.
There’s The Crown, which returns for a second season of sumptuous, BAFTA-winning royal drama. There’s all the other TV you can binge on, thanks to Dark, Germany’s answer to Stranger Things, Season 2 of Travellers and Spain’s Las Chicas del Cable, Season 3 of How to Get Away with Murder, plus a new series from Errol Morris. There are old friends to catch up with, including Doctor Who, Peaky Blinders and sequel to ice hockey favourite Goon. There are weighty Oscar contenders to digest after Christmas dinner, such as Spotlight and Bridge of Spies, thrillers to excite on New Year’s Eve, from Mad Max: Fury Road to Berlin Syndrome. There’s more than enough to keep the kids entertained, with Trollhunters’ second season to unwrap alongside the return of family-friendly science show Bill Nye Saves the World. There are horror movies to chill when the tykes have gone to bed, from Krampus to The Autopsy of Jane Doe. And, of course, there’s Christmas charm aplenty in Love Actually, the starriest new addition to Netflix’s seasonal selection (see the most up-to-date and comprehensive guide to Netflix UK’s Christmas content here).
And did we mention Season 2 of The Crown?
