IMDb, Amazon’s ad-supported free streaming service, is now available in the UK. The platform, which is an extension of the Amazon-owned IMDb brand, is part of the Amazon Prime Video app, and provides films and TV shows for free, but with adverts.
IMDb TV requires an Amazon account to use, but does not require any payment, memberships or subscription. It does not include everything that would normally be included with an Amazon Prime subscription, but there are some titles that are also available part of an Amazon Prime subscription, so that viewers can pay should they want to watch with no adverts.
