Disney+ brings Marvel home once again this February, with the streaming debut of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, accompanied by a making-of documentary. Speaking of iconic Disney figures, Carl from Up is also back for an outing of Dug Days. And, for non-Disney, non-Marvel fans, there’s a new limited series starring Jesse Eisenberg and Claire Danes.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Disney+ UK in February 2023:

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – 1st February

Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder: Season 2 – 1st February

The animated series picks up the story of The Proud Family’s central character Penny Proud and also include her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and her grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff). Also featuring will be Penny’s loyal crew Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer, among others.

Assembled: The Making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – 8th February

Marvel continues its behind-the-scenes documentaries with a look at how the hit sequel was made.

Dug Days: Carl’s Date – 10th February

Pixar’s spin-off series of animated shorts following the dog from Up returns for a one-off special that sees Carl Fredricksen reluctantly agree to go on a date – only for Dug to step in and help calm his pre-date jitters.

j-hope IN THE BOX – 17th February

Starring j-hope of BTS and produced by HYBE, j-hope IN THE BOX follows the international music sensation every step of the way as he works to release his first-ever solo album – Jack In The Box. Over the course of the documentary, viewers will be given a never-before-seen look at the creative challenges faced during the album’s preparation process, as well as front row seats to j-hope’s 2022 Lollapalooza performance and the album’s listening party.

Fleishman Is in Trouble: Season 1 – 22nd February

Based on the New York Times bestseller, this FX drama tells the story of recently divorced 41-year-old Toby Fleishman (Jesse Eisenberg), who dives into the brave new world of app-based dating with the kind of success he never had dating in his youth. But just at the start of his first summer of sexual freedom, his ex-wife disappears, leaving him with the kids and no hint of where she is or whether she plans to return. Claire Danes, Lizzy Caplan and Adam Brody co-star.
