Disney’s Netflix rival is finally here in the UK, serving up Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar originals, along with a post-modern revamp of High School Musical and almost every episode of The Simpsons. Except, due to both the coronavirus pandemic and Disney’s newcomer status in the streaming game, a lot of that original new content is a while off yet. Until then, though, there’s a treasure trove of older Disney titles available to binge through, plus the following new arrivals in the coming month.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Disney UK in April:
The Mandalorian – Fridays
The Star Wars series continues to drop new episodes every Friday, with Episode 4, 5, 6 and 7 landing this month.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series – Fridays
Also joining The Mandalorian in its weekly schedule is this meta take on High School Musical that sees a group of high school kids rehearse and perform a production of – you guessed it – High School Musical. Episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6 are on the way.
Diary of a Future President – Fridays
Ilana Peña’s new comedy follows Elena, a Cuban-American teen who navigates the ups and downs of middle school and begins her journey to become the future president of the United States. Episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6 are also arriving weekly.

Marvel’s Hero Project – Fridays

These young heroes have dedicated their lives to selfless acts of bravery and kindness, and now, Marvel celebrates them as the true Super Heroes they are.
Pick of the Litter – Fridays
A docu-series based on the film of the same name, featuring the stories of service animals, their trainers, and their human companions.
