Apple TV+ is stepping up its streaming game this year, with a slew of new and returning originals confirmed for spring and summer – but July is undoubtedly the highlight of the streaming service’s year, as it sees the second season of the one and only Ted Lasso.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ in July 2021:

The Snoopy Show: Season 2 – 9th July

Based upon the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, this charming animated series stars the internationally beloved beagle and his feathered best friend Woodstock as they tackle all-new adventures. Snoopy may seem like just a happy-dancin’, bone-lovin’, doghouse-sittin’ pup, but he’s much more than that. He’s Joe Cool: hippest kid in school. He’s surfer king and famed arm wrestler Masked Marvel. He’s a World War I flying ace who battles the Red Baron. And he’s back in seven new episodes this summer.

Schmigadoon! – 16th July

Keegan-Michael Key stars in this six-part comedy series about a couple on a backpacking trip who find themselves trapped in a magical town where everyone is living in a studio musical from the 1940s. The series co-stars Fred Armisen, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ariana DeBose, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski and Aaron Tveit. The first two episodes arrive at once, then episodes drop weekly.

Ted Lasso: Season 2 – 23rd July

Since its debut in August 2020, this comedy about an American football coach hired to manage a British soccer team – despite having no experience – has won over hearts and minds of football and non-football fans alike, thanks to its die-hard optimism. It stars Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, who makes up for what he lakes in knowledge with kindness and enthusiasm. Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed co-star, with Sarah Niles joining the cast for Season 2 as sports psychologist Sharon. The first two of 12 episodes arrive at once, then episodes drop weekly.

Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson: Season 1 – 30th July

This six-part docuseries examines sound creation and the revolutionary technology that has shaped music as we know it. Each episode follow the DJ and producer Mark Ronson as he uncovers the untold stories behind music creation and the lengths producers and creators are willing to go to find the perfect sound. Interviewees include Paul McCartney, Questlove, King Princess, Dave Grohl, Ad-Rock and Mike D from the Beastie Boys, Charli XCX and more. Expect all episodes to arrive at once.
