What’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in November 2024?
David Farnor | On 02, Nov 2024
Amazon is smartly leveraging popular franchise to expand its library of original series this November, with the arrival of Cross, Cruel Intentions and Paris Has Fallen – accompanied by its expansion of its own original franchise, Citadel. But it’s the original and exclusive movies that really intrigue, with Kneecap and Firebrand both on the way.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in November 2024:
Freedom – 1st November
Inspired by the daring exploits of a legendary outlaw in France in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Freedom follows the electrifying story of Bruno Sulak (Lucas Bravo), a suave and daring criminal who stole hearts alongside riches. Known for his charm and finesse, Sulak masterminded daring heists without firing a single shot. But as his infamy grew, so did the relentless pursuit of George Moréas (Yvan Attal), a tenacious police commissioner with a knack for outsmarting criminals. As Moréas closes in, Sulak’s escapes from prison become legendary, fuelled by a lust for freedom, and a burning desire for his lover Annie (Léa Luce Busato). Amidst the chaos of their criminal spree, Sulak and Annie become the ultimate symbols of defiance in the most exhilarating game of cat and mouse that gripped the nation. Co-written by Mélanie Laurent and Chris Deslandes (The Mad Women’s Ball), Freedom is produced by Alain Goldman.
Paris Has Fallen: Season 1 – 1st November
When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce attacks a high-profile event, with the French Minister of Defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realise that the plan extends beyond just one politician. When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance? All episodes arrive at once.
Firebrand – 6th November
In blood-soaked Tudor England, Katherine Parr, the sixth and last wife of King Henry VIII, is named Regent while tyrant Henry is fighting overseas. Katherine has done everything she can to push for a new future based on her radical Protestant beliefs. When an increasingly ailing and paranoid King returns, he turns his fury on the radicals, charging Katherine’s childhood friend with treason and burns her at the stake. Horrified and grieving, but forced to deny it, Katherine finds herself fighting for her own survival. Conspiracy reverberates through the palace. Everyone holds their breath – for the queen to slip up, for Henry to take her head like wives before. With the hope for a future free of tyranny at risk, will Katherine submit to the inevitable for the sake of King and country?
My Old Ass – 7th November
In this fresh coming-of-age story, an 18th birthday mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). But when Elliott’s “old ass” starts handing out warnings about what her younger self should and shouldn’t do, Elliott realizes she has to rethink everything about family, love, and what’s becoming a transformative summer.
Citadel: Honey Bunny: Season 1 – 7th November
Born from the world of Citadel, the Indian series is directed by Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) and written by Sita R. Menon, along with Raj & DK. The thriller follows stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan), who recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig as they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal. All episodes arrive at once.
Cross: Season 1 – 14th November
Alex Cross is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers. Hodge stars in the series and also serves as a producer. Cross also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. All episodes arrive at once.
Kneecap – 15th November
Rich Peppiatt’s raucous and infectious debut feature is a heightened tale of Kneecap’s origin story. Set in post-troubles Belfast, childhood best friends Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh and Naoise Ó Cairealláin live debaucherously, selling drugs and partying to pass the time, but when they inadvertently cross paths with high school teacher JJ Ó Dochartaigh, things begin down a path none of them saw coming. At the same time, a civil rights movement, led by JJ’s partner, is fighting for the right to have the Irish language instated as an official language of Northern Ireland. With this political backdrop, JJ sees an opportunity to use music to further the cause. Following in the footsteps of Naoise’s father (played by Michael Fassbinder), an IRA stalwart who instilled in them the power of language and culture, the three of them form Kneecap, a politically-charged, anti-establishment rap trio who rap in Irish and embody the spirit of defiance.
Wish List Games: Season 1 – 20th November
Wish List Games, a multi-episode holiday event, is produced by MGM Alternative. Cruel Intentions: Season 1 – 21st November

Pimpinero: Blood and Oil – 22nd November
From the director of Narcos and Griselda, Andrés Baiz, Pimpinero: Blood and Oil is set in the desert bordering Colombia and Venezuela, where gasoline smugglers known as “pimpineros” risk their lives transporting illegal fuel from one country to another. When Juan (Alejandro Speitzer) – the youngest in a clan of three brothers entangled in this perilous trade – is forced to work for a sinister rival, the underbelly of the business is laid bare with tragic consequences. Determined to uncover the gruesome secrets that shroud this no-man’s-land, Juan’s girlfriend Diana (Laura Osma) embarks on a quest for the truth.
