Sky is aiming for blockbuster territory this November, with the debut of star-studded thriller The Day of the Jackal plus the exclusive rights to Dune: Prophecy. Gunpowder Siege: Season 1 (Sky History, 9pm) – 4th November
Gunpowder Siege dramatically reimagines the most infamous rebellion plot in British history, shattering the myths to reveal the largely forgotten, gripping truth behind the Gunpowder Plot. Prepare to see the story you thought you knew – blown wide open. The compelling drama plunges into the aftermath of the Plot, spotlighting its three leaders – Robert Catesby, his cunning cousin Thomas Wintour, and their ruthless enforcer Thomas Percy. Instantly branded as the most wanted men in England, they race from London to the Midlands, desperately seeking to ignite a Catholic rebellion. Their daring plan? Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 5th November
Intrepid filmmaker Cullen Hoback dives into the origins of Bitcoin and the identity of its creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. The documentary film offers a thrilling, globe-spanning investigation, with Hoback immersing himself with key players, uncovering never-before-seen clues, and humorously unraveling Bitcoin’s meteoric rise.
The Day of the Jackal: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 7th November
An unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal (Eddie Redmayne), makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake. A fresh twist on Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 classic, the ten-part series also stars Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time To Die), Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist, Snatch), Charles Dance (Game Of Thrones) and Richard Dormer (Fortitude). Episodes 1 to 5 arrive together, then new episodes arrive weekly.
David Baddiel: The Not the Trilogy (Sky Arts, 10pm) – 9th November
Performing live at the Royal Court Theatre in London, David Baddiel returns to all three of his “Not the…” stand up shows in a special series for Sky Arts. Consisting of the critically-acclaimed shows Fame: Not the Musical, My Family: Not the Sitcom and Trolls: Not the Dolls, David touches on topics such as his strange co-existence with his professional persona, his complex relationship with his parents and the absurd cyber-paths that resulted from interacting with online trolls. The three episodes arrive weekly.
Breath of Fire (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 14th November
YouTube astrologer Katie Griggs rose to fame as the face of Kundalini yoga and reinvented herself as Guru Jagat, attracting followers — including celebrities and fee-paying devotees — with promises of prosperity, physical health, and spiritual fulfillment. Breath of Fire offers a multi- decade examination of the corruption within Kundalini yoga and a portrait of a misguided guru and master manipulator, spotlighting the uneasy nexus of the American dream, self- invention, and fanatical ideology.
Seth Meyers: Dad Man Walking (Sky Comedy, 9pm) – 16th November
Known for his dry wit and sharp topical commentary as host of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Seth Meyers shifts his focus in his first HBO stand-up special to his personal life — from the chaos of raising three kids to navigating different communication styles.
Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked (Sky Max, 8pm) – 16th November
After two decades as one of the most beloved and enduring musicals on the stage, Wicked makes its long-awaited journey to the big screen. Just ahead of its theatrical release, take a trip behind the scenes in this hour-long special
Dune: Prophecy: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 18th November
From the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. Dune: Prophecy is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Episodes arrive weekly.
My Brilliant Friend: Season 4 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 20th November
Based on the best-selling novels by Elena Ferrante, My Brilliant Friend follows Elena Greco and Raffaella “Lila” Cerullo. Their story covers over 60 years, exploring the mystery of Lila — Elena’s brilliant best friend and worst enemy. Season four delves into the adult lives of Elena and Lila, who find themselves entangled in the turmoil of Italy in the late 1980s. Amid motherhood, career demands, betrayals, threats, disappearances, and natural disasters, the two lifelong friends once again reside in the same neighbourhood. Episodes arrive weekly.
Matlock (Sky Witness) – Date TBC
Matlock stars Emmy and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a brilliant septuagenarian who achieved success in her younger years and decides to rejoin the work force at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases. Matty is assigned to Olympia (Skye P. Marshall), a senior attorney and key rainmaker with a thirst for justice, while Olympia’s ex-husband, Julian (Jason Ritter), the son of the head of the firm, is intrigued by Matty and her clever skills.

Lee – 1st November
Kate Winslet stars in this drama about the life of former Vogue model turned American war photographer and correspondent Lee Miller. It follows Lee as she travels to the front line during World War II to document the war and expose the truths of Nazi Germany.
Ordinary Angels – 2nd November
Based on a remarkable true story, Ordinary Angels centres on Sharon Steves (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.
Sasquatch Sunset – 3rd November
In the misty forests of North America, a family of Sasquatches – possibly the last of their enigmatic kind – embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey over the course of one year. These shaggy and noble giants fight for survival as they find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them. Starring Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg, acclaimed directors David and Nathan Zellner (Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter) bring you the greatest Bigfoot story ever told.
The Holdovers – 8th November
From acclaimed director Alexander Payne, The Holdovers follows a curmudgeonly instructor (Paul Giamatti) at a New England prep school who is forced to remain on campus during Christmas break to babysit the handful of students with nowhere to go. Eventually he forms an unlikely bond with one of them – a damaged, brainy troublemaker (Dominic Sessa) – and with the school’s head cook, who has just lost a son in Vietnam (Da’Vine Joy Randolph).
There’s Something in the Barn – 9th November
Bill moves his American wife Carol and children Nora and Lucas to Norway where he’s inherited a family estate. There, Lucas discovers a mischievous barn elf from ancient folklore living in the barn who elf plots to get rid of the American intruders.
Journey to Bethlehem – 10th November
A young woman carrying an unimaginable responsibility. A young man torn between love and honour. A jealous king who will stop at nothing to keep his crown. This live-action Christmas musical adventure for the entire family weaves classic Christmas melodies with humour, faith and new pop songs in a retelling of the greatest story ever told, the story of Mary and Joseph and the birth of Jesus.
Dune: Part Two – 15th November
Dune: Part Two explores the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavours to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee. Starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Berdem, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken and Stellan Skarsgård.
Widow Clicquot – 16th November
After her husband’s untimely death, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot flouts convention by assuming the reins of the fledgling wine business they had nurtured together. Steering the company through dizzying political and financial reversals, she defies her critics and revolutionises the champagne industry to become one of the world’s first great businesswomen.
Tarot – 17th November
When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.
IF – 22nd November
From writer and director John Krasinski, IF follows a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends – and what she does with that superpower – as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. Featuring an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Phoebe Waller- Bridge, Steve Carrell, Fiona Shaw and more.
Girl You Know It’s True – 23rd November
Hit producer Frank Farian (Matthias Schweighöfer) takes on unknown dancers Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan for his next music project. A meteoric rise ensues that exceeds all bounds. The two friends Rob and Fab conquer the international charts under the name of Milli Vanilli, have three Number One hits in the US and enjoy a life of excess in Hollywood. There is only a small circle of insiders who know their secret: the duo don’t sing themselves at all.
Thanksgiving – 24th November
After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorises Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Monkey Man – 29th November
Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, an icon embodying strength and courage, Monkey Man stars Dev Patel as Kid, an anonymous young man who ekes out a meagre living in an underground fight club where, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash. Absolution – 30th November
An ageing gangster attempts to reconnect with his children and rectify the mistakes in his past, but the criminal underworld won’t loosen their grip willingly.
