Amazon is already paving the way for its big Coming 2 America release in March with a month of exclusive movies, from Toronto Film Festival Hit I Care A lot and Gerard Butler blockbuster Greenland to Lev Grossman’s sci-fi drama The Map of Tiny Perfect Things and Mike Cahill’s new film, Bliss.

They’re joined by AMC anthology Soulmates, a sequel to spy thriller The Family Man and a new Spanish thriller series – plus, of course, the original Coming to America.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in February 2021:

Coming to America – 1st February

Charming and disarming, Eddie Murphy’s ambitious rom-com mixes the silly with the sweet. Never seen it? This is your chance to catch up before the sequel arrives exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in March.

The Hunger Games – 1st February

The young adult franchise returns to Amazon Prime Video, with Jennifer Lawrence on excellent form as Katnis Everdeen, the unwitting leader of a rebellion in a dystopia that forces young people to combat each other once a year.

Bliss – 5th February

The latest from Another Earth director Mike Cahill is a mind-bending love story following Greg (Owen Wilson), who meets the mysterious Isabel (Salma Hayek), a woman living on the streets and convinced that the polluted, broken world around them is a computer simulation.

ATP Cup: Melbourne – 1st to 5th February

Amazon’s exclusive coverage of the ATP tennis tour continues with full, uninterrupted live coverage of all matches, plus replays and highlights on demand.

Greenland – 5th February

In the action-packed disaster-thriller Greenland, a family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being levelled by the comet’s fragments, the Garritys experience the best and worst in humanity while they battle the increasing panic and lawlessness surrounding them. As the countdown to global apocalypse approaches zero, their incredible trek culminates in a desperate and last-minute flight to a possible safe haven.

Soulmates – 8th February

Soulmates is set 15 years into the future, when science has made a discovery that changes the lives of everyone on the planet – a test that unequivocally tells you who your soulmate is. Each of the six episodes will feature a different cast and explore an entirely new story around discovering (or opting not to discover) the results of this new test and the impact of those results on a myriad of relationships.

The Family Man: Season 2 – 12th February

The sequel to the action spy thriller marks the return of India’s favourite Family Man, Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee). The new season will see Srikant struggle to balance his personal and professional life whilst pitted against a new nemesis, Raji played by Samantha Akkineni.

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things – 12th February

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things tells the story of quick-witted teen Mark, contentedly living the same day in an endless loop whose world is turned upside-down when he meets mysterious Margaret also stuck in the time loop. Mark and Margaret form a magnetic partnership, setting out to find all the tiny things that make that one day perfect. What follows is a love story with a fantastical twist, as the two struggle to figure out how – and whether – to escape their never-ending day.

I Still Believe – 12th February

This inspiring true-life story follows Jeremy Camp’s search for his artistic voice, leading him to his wildest professional dreams, as well as the love of his life. Starring KJ Apa, Britt Robertson, Shania Twain, and Gary Sinise.

WTA: 250 Melbourne – 13th to 19th February

Amazon serves up WTA coverage of the latest Australian tournament to go with its exclusive ATP rights.

Bad Boys – 18th February

Back when Michael Bay was at the peak of his game, this odd-couple buddy cop movie starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is loud, explosive and – thanks to the main couple’s chemistry – enjoyably brainless fun.

I Care a Lot – 19th February

Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Eiza González (Baby Driver) and Dianne Wiest (Parenthood, Edward Scissorhands) star in this darkly comic thriller from director J Blakeson (The Disappearance of Alice Creed). It follows a professional, court-appointed guardian for dozens of elderly wards whose assets she seizes and cunningly bilks through dubious but legal means. But when her latest mark turns out to have an equally shady secret of their own – and connections to a volatile gangster – she is forced to level up in a game only predators can play. One that’s neither fair, nor square.

El Internado: Season 1 – 19th February

Located in a remote monastery in the north of Spain, students rebel against the school institution leading them to uncover the dark mystery that plagues The Black Lagoon Boarding School.

Bohemian Rhapsody – 19th February

This Academy award-winning Queen biopic charts the successes and struggles of the beloved British rock band. Rami Malek plays legendary late frontman Freddie Mercury.
