Amazon is bringing back one of its literally biggest hits with a new chapter of Reacher this August. It’s joined by star-studded drama Sterling Point, a slew of sporting documentaries and the Bear Grylls/The Chosen crossover you never knew you needed.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in August 2026:

Sterling Point: Season 1 – 5th August

Sterling Point is a heartfelt, coming-of-age drama led by 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin). Raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romance and untold family secrets. The cast also includes Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Talifeathers, and Missi Pyle. Beast Race – 7th August

In a dystopian future, Rio de Janeiro lies in ruins and has become the setting for a deadly race. What was once the “jogo do bicho” (animal game) has now turned into a violent competition among runners, each representing an animal, risking their lives to compete for a cash prize that can change their lives. However, to compete, each runner must offer another person as collateral. Only the winners recover their loved ones. The game has become a symbol of oppression for many and entertainment for the majority, who bet on their favorite runners, further widening the gap between the rich and the poor.

The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls – 9th August

For decades, Bear has survived dangerous expeditions around the globe, anchored by his faith in Jesus. Now he’s taking the stars of the global hit series The Chosen on missions into the unknown. Five extraordinary actors and their series creator will face their fears in the wilderness as Bear explores what makes his guests tick, digs into their spirituality in a deeply personal way, and pushes them to their ultimate limits. All episodes arrive at once.

Reacher: Season 4 – 12th August

Based on the 13th book in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Gone Tomorrow, in the fourth season of the action-packed series, when a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power. New to the cast this season are Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson. Episodes arrive weekly.

An Amputation Obsession: The Monster and the Surgeon – 13th August

Vascular surgeon Neil Hopper, known for performing amputations, becomes a national symbol of hope after losing both legs to a mysterious illness. A Beautiful Obsession – 19th August

A four-part docuseries following Pep Guardiola’s final chapter at Manchester City. A Beautiful Obsession shows what was actually happening at the club during a disappointing 2024/25 season and the resurgence of the team to claim a domestic double. As she unexpectedly falls for Julián (Fernando Lindez) and begins to embrace living in the moment, her worsening condition and long-hidden family secrets threaten to unravel everything before the summer ends.

Meet The Owens – 28th August

Since retiring from a Ballon d’Or-winning football career, Michael Owen has built a horse racing business to compete at the biggest events in the world, but running a successful racing operation has never been more challenging. At home, he and wife Louise are preparing for life as empty nesters: youngest Jessica dreams of becoming a showjumping Olympic champion; Emily, 18, is trying to become the first Owen to go to university; and James, 20, who has a degenerative eye condition, wants to join the family business. Meanwhile, eldest daughter Gemma, a presenter and equestrian with millions of social media followers, is balancing her media career with an ambitious new challenge.
