Amazon is serving up a star-studded double-bill this September, with the return of The Boys spin-off Gen V for a second season, and new thriller The Girlfriend starring Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke.

The Runarounds – 1st September

The Runarounds follows a group of recent high school graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina, who come together the summer after graduation to form a rock band, united by their shared love of music and near-impossible dream of stardom. Over the course of one unforgettable summer, they throw themselves into the pursuit of their big break—falling in love, getting into trouble, and building the kind of bonds that feel like family along the way. Dish It Out – 5th September

Tilly Ramsey will take Dish It Out viewers on a journey celebrating online trends and family favourite recipes. In each episode, she’ll unbox surprise ingredients and tools, revealing recipes sent by celebrity chefs, social media influencers, and loved ones. From secret family recipes to the latest viral food trends, Tilly tackles each dish with her signature flair, creating mouthwatering masterpieces. Episodes arrive weekly.

Catching the Tinder Predator – 7th September

In July 2024 ,Christopher Harkins was sentenced to 12-years for crimes from rape through to fraud after a decade of offending spurred on by online dating. This documentary series explores the actions of Harkins, the attitudes of society and the legal system, and the dogged determination of a band of women who fought to get justice. The Girlfriend – 10th September

The Girlfriend is based on Michelle Frances’ novel of the same name. Laura (Robin Wright) wants for nothing. She has a glittering career, a loving husband, and, above all, she has Daniel, her precious only son. But Laura’s seemingly perfect life is blown apart when Daniel brings home Cherry (Olivia Cooke), the girlfriend who changes everything. After an uncomfortable first meeting, Laura grows convinced that Cherry isn’t who she says she is. Whilst no-one else can see what she sees, Laura refuses to stand by and watch Daniel be deceived. She’ll do anything to protect him. As things go from bad to deadly, the question is, Is Cherry a manipulative social climber? Or is Laura paranoid and possessive? Helluva Boss: Season 1 to 2 – 10th September

Set in Hell, Helluva Boss follows the hell-born imp Blitzo (the “o” is silent), the eccentric leader of I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), a small, chaotic assassination business able to run thanks to a magic grimoire, and a complicated situationship with the demon prince Stolas. Alongside his equally chaotic ragtag crew – Moxxie, a by-the-books marksman; Millie, a fiery and skilled assassin; and Loona, their snarky, hellbound receptionist – Blitzo takes on contracts to kill targets in the human world. Larry the Cable Guy: It’s A Gift – 12th September

Larry the Cable Guy returns to the stage with a new comedy special filmed at the historic Capitol Theater in Clearwater, Florida. Expect outrageous humour, heartfelt moments and a whole lot of laughs.

Gen V: Season 2 – 17th September

In Season 2 of this spin-off from The Boys, school is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss. But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it. The London Railway Murders – 21st September

A dynamic, female-led documentary, The London Railway Murders tells the story of two childhood friends who grew into killers and the fierce group of women – police and victims – whose determination and resilience finally caged a monster. In 1998, ten years after a murderer and rapist dubbed the ‘Railway Killer’ was sent to prison, a spate of eerily similar attacks led police to question whether they had a copycat on their hands – or if the real attacker was still at large. But an astonishing confession would reveal the truth – that the Railway Killer had an accomplice… All episodes arrive at once.

Hotel Costiera: Season 1 – 24th September

With a gripping storyline, fast-paced action and comedy, Hotel Costiera follows Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half Italian former U.S. Marine. Daniel returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. In addition to dealing with the wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced. All episodes arrive at once.
