Amazon is stepping into the recent past this September with the debut of A Very Royal Scandal, revisiting Prince Andrew’s infamous interview with Newsnight – only a few months after Netflix did the same with Scoop. It’s joined by a Japanese take on the police stakeout sitcom No Activity, a couple of exclusive, star-studded films and a farewell to The Grand Tour as we know it.

Damaged – 4th September

Dan Lawson, a Chicago detective, travels to Scotland to link up with Scottish Det. Boyd, following the resurgence of a serial killer who’s crimes match an unsolved case that he looked into 5 years previous in Chicago. Starring Samuel L Jackson, Vincent Cassel, John Hannah and Kate Dickie.

The Grand Tour: One for the Road – 13th September

In their last adventure, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May ignore the instructions of Mr Wilman and head to Zimbabwe in three cars they’ve always wanted to own, a Lancia Montecarlo, a Ford Capri 3-litre, and a Triumph Stag, for a road trip through beautiful and sometimes challenging landscapes.

No Activity (Honjitsu mo Ijou Nashi): Season 2 – 13th September

Capturing the unique camaraderie in the distinctively contrasting partnership of Shingo, who shows the least interest and chooses to do the bare minimum, and Asobu, who uses his wit and charm to get things done in a series that is teeming with an entertaining storyline, riveting performances, impeccable comic timing, and rib-tickling moments.

A Very Royal Scandal: Season 1 – 19th September

One night. One hour. One interview that sent shockwaves around the globe. Based on the real-life 2019 interview between Emily Maitlis (Ruth Wilson) and Prince Andrew (Michael Sheen) over the scandalous accusations he faced regarding his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre.

Killer Heat – 26th September

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Richard Madden star in this neo-noir about private eye Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), an American expat in Greece, whois hired to investigate the accidental death of young shipping magnate Leo Vardakis (Richard Madden) on the island of Crete. The victim’s sister-in-law (Shailene Woodley) doesn’t believe the official police report. But what exactly happened to Leo, and why?

Previously Saved Version – 26th September

Set in the year 2200 AD, this Japanese original film unfolds in a future where human migration to space and advanced technology enable memory manipulation. Naoki and Mayumi, who live in a luxury floating residence in space, are the perfect couple that anyone would admire at first glance.
