What’s leaving Sky and NOW TV in November / December 2020?
James R | On 28, Nov 2020
Sky’s growing number of original shows and ever-expanding catalogue of blockbusters is ideal for keeping your days and nights occupied, but before you break open new box sets or devour some big-hitting films, don’t miss your chance to catch some modern gems before their rights expire and they depart.
That means taking care not to miss out some of Sky’s exclusives, such as Billions. Or, if you’ve got Sky Cinema, don’t miss some superhero fun in the form of Avengers: Endgame, Thor and Glass.
This is your last chance to stream the following:
TV
Billions: Season 5 – 11th December
Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades see their vicious rivalry reignited, while new enemies rise and take aim.
Nathan For You: Season 1 to 4 – 1st December
One of the best TV shows you haven’t heard of, this US docu-reality comedy sees comedian Nathan Fielder use his business degree and life experiences to help actual small businesses turn a profit. A sharp-edged satire of commercialism, stuffed with amusingly over-the-top marketing ideas.
High Maintenance: Season 3 and 4 – 6th December
The Guy with the supply is back for the fourth season of the eclectic New York-based comedy, following the pot-dealer as he makes the rounds to his diverse clientele.

Se7en – 29th November
Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are on superb form as two detectives hunting a serial killer bumping people off via the Seven Deadly Sins, in what may be David Fincher’s darkest – and perhaps even best – film.
Beauty and the Beast (1991) – 30th November
“Tale as old as time…” If you weren’t a fan of the remake, or even if you were, the animated original – about a woman who falls in love with a princess cursed to look like a hairy beast – is irresistibly sweet.
Cloverfield – 30th November
A thoroughly modern monster movie.
In Fabric – 30th November
Peter Strickland’s weird, brilliantly entertaining horror is a frightening, funny number with a uniquely disturbing style.
Dogman – 30th November
Part Western, part crime thriller, Marcello Fonte shines in Matteo Garrone’s compelling, brutal psychological drama.
Enchanted – 30th November
Witty, hilarious and unabashedly earnest, this post-modern Disney flick deftly hits the mark.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? – 6th December
No matter what, the Coen brothers can always be relied upon to make movies for themselves rather than anyone else. This take on Homer’s Odyssey – which sees three convicts (led by George Clooney) break out of a Depression-era Mississippi jail, only to form a barbershop triplet – is the perfect example. But O Brother, Where Art Thou? also proves that the Coen brothers’ movies never fail to entertain the rest of us too.
Glass (2019) – 12th November
Shyamalan’s unlikely comic book trilogy reaches an uneven but entertaining climax.
Benjamin (2018) – 12th November
Simon Amstell’s painfully hilarious drama is a caustic, sweet, quotable gem.
Bumblebee – 12th November
Hailee Steinfield is superb in this charmingy low-key character drama that just so happens to feature giant robots.
Avengers: Endgame – 18th December
What Marvel’s epic finale lacks in stakes it makes up for in sheer, spectacular fun.
