With Adult Swim and VICE part of All 4’s revamped platform, each month sees a wave of new box sets arrive on Channel 4’s catch-up service. Every Friday this month, that means you can expect fantastical satire, real life stories of addiction and self-aware comedy.

Here’s what’s coming soon to All 4 in August:

Adult Swim: The Eric Andre Show: Season 4 – Friday 2nd August

The most hellish show on Late Night returns with co-host Hannibal Buress, completely redefining the television viewing experience as we know it! With more ethically deplorable street pranks and severely offended guests than ever before, prepare to have your senses violated.

VICE: Dopesick Nation – 9th August

Dopesick Nation takes place in southern Florida in the “recovery capital of America”. The series follows two recovering addicts, Allie and Frankie, and their journey to take on the opioid epidemic by assisting as many addicts into recovery as they can. The series also highlights the corruption and exploitation that currently exists in the rehab industry.

Adult Swim: Tigtone – 16th August

Quest-addicted hero Tigtone slashes his way through a satirical fantasy universe with melodramatic ferocity and a complete disregard for the collateral damage he inflicts along the way.

VICE: Munchies Guide to… – 23rd August

Munchies presents a series of guides to eating in some of the best destinations around the world, from Welsh lamb to tacos in Oaxaca, and truffle hunting in Oregon.

Adult Swim: Joe Pera Talks with You: Season 1 – 30th August

The series stars comedian Joe Pera as a fictionalised version of himself, living in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and teaching choir at a local middle school. Pera attempts to talk directly to the audience about mundane subject matter such as iron, Sunday breakfast, fall drives, dancing, sleeping, and music.
